Archaeological Excavations Begin in Sløyken

Archaeologists from UiT arrived in Andenes and began the major excavation in Sløyken, an area described as part of Norway’s largest farm mound. The work aimed to uncover new knowledge about Andenes’ long history as a fishing community.
