Tickets to The Whale are now on sale

Tickets are now on sale for The Whale, the new knowledge and experience centre dedicated to whales and the marine environment, opening in Andenes, Northern Norway, on June 4, 2027.

Located on the Arctic island of Andøya, The Whale will welcome visitors throughout the year to explore whales, the ocean and the relationship between people and marine life through science, art and storytelling.

The year-round experience is closely connected to its Arctic setting. Summer brings the midnight sun, while the darker months offer a different perspective on the landscape, with the possibility of seeing the Northern Lights. Just offshore, the deep-sea Bleik Canyon provides rich feeding grounds for whales, making Andenes one of Norway’s best-known destinations for whale watching. Sperm whales can be observed in the area throughout the year, alongside several other species. Designed by Danish architecture studio Dorte Mandrup, The Whale will rise from the rocky coastline with views towards the Norwegian Sea and the surrounding Arctic landscape.

With tickets now available, visitors from around the world can book their experience at The Whale from June 4, 2027.
