The Complete Whale Experience with Overnight Stay
Experience the very best of Andenes with a thoughtfully curated journey that combines an overnight stay, immersive knowledge on land and a calm, close encounter with whales at sea.
Your stay includes accommodation at Andenes Suite Hotel, offering comfort, tranquility and a strong sense of place in a beautifully restored landmark building. Take time to explore Andenes and enjoy the Arctic surroundings before your whale experiences begin.
Your journey begins at The Whale, the iconic experience and knowledge centre where you are introduced to the world of whales. Through immersive exhibitions and storytelling, you gain insight into whale biology, evolution and their close connection to the ocean – creating a deeper understanding before meeting them in the wild.
The journey continues at sea aboard MS Reine, a large and comfortable whale-watching vessel designed for quiet and respectful exploration. The route takes you into the spectacular Bleik Canyon, one of the world’s most fascinating marine ecosystems. With experienced guides and whale researchers on board, you may observe whales up close in their natural environment, in a calm, safe and sustainable way.
This seamless combination of comfort, knowledge and nature offers a rare opportunity to encounter whales both on land and at sea – an unforgettable experience unique to Andenes.
Whalesafari aims to cancel departures at least 24 hours in advance; however, unforeseen circumstances may result in later cancellations. Rebooking and a new whale safari are free of charge if no whales are sighted. Whalesafari’s terms and conditions apply.
