Entrance ticket
An entrance ticket grants entry to The Whale on the selected date. The ticket includes access to all permanent and temporary exhibitions, experiences and installations inside the building. Visitors can explore on their own and move freely between all experience areas. Guests with a valid ticket can also gain access to the restaurant at The Whale.
The Whale is an experience- and knowledge centre in Andenes, in Andøy, that combines art and science to convey the life of whales and the marine environments in which they live. The unique architecture makes the building an experience in its own right. The Whale provides an insight into the biology, behaviour and migration patterns of whales as well as the human relationship with whales throughout history. Everything is designed to be accessible and engaging for all ages.
